Before being elected VCDCC Secretary in 2021, Michaela Perez held political, non-profit, and community leadership roles.

Previously, Michaela has held a wide range of policy and research roles, including VC-SAFE (Yes on Measures A&B), Julia Brownley for Congress, the City of Oakland, the Office of Senator Scott Wiener, and Mayor London Breed's Opportunities for All Initiative.
