Democratic Club Conejo Valley

The Democratic Club of the Conejo Valley serves to inform and involve Democrats in local, state and national politics. We are the officially sanctioned and chartered group of the Democratic Party in the Conejo Valley.

During the 2004 election cycle, our club joined with other clubs and campaigns in our area, to register 13,000 new Democrats in Ventura County. This has closed the gap between Republican and Democrat registration, and through our ongoing efforts, we expect to have parity within a few years in the county.

Our club is the largest in Ventura County, with over 300 paid members, and another 700 on our mailing list. Our numbers are increasing each month, and we expect to reach our goal of growing our paid membership to an all time high in club history, by the end of 2005.

Our members range in age from teens to seniors, and all are welcome. We encourage membership in other local, state and national groups.

Eleven of our members are elected delegates to the California Democratic Party, in the 37th & 41st Districts. Five of our members represent the 2nd Supervisorial District on the Ventura County Democratic Central Committee.
